This 16mm film was shown at the annual postseason booster club football banquet in 1939. It was part of the comical entertainment used to help honor the 5th consecutive State Championship team coached by Paul Brown. It was referred to as "A burlesque on Massillon football." Several years later metal was needed for the war effort against Adolf Hitler's nazi Germany and so film was removed from their reels and thrown away. However, thanks to coach Augie Morningstar (193 5 All-Ohio I ' team) the film was saved from its scheduled destruction. The original film is silent with just an opening title. Music and text was added in October of 1994. The piano music is by Robin (Eddie) Schumacher. | Close | This 16mm film. was produced for showing at the annual postseason booster club football banquet.
